How Does FarewellCell Work?

FarewellCell offers you the ability to sell your used cell phone or tablet with ease in three easy steps:

  1. Quote It.  Find your device in our wide selection of choices and choose your items detailed condition.
  2. Ship it. Print Out Your Free Pre-Paid Shipping Label that we provide you once you complete checkout. Attach it to your box, carefully package your item and mail your device to us.
  3. Get Paid.  Within receiving your device we pay you within 24 hours through PayPal or mail you a check.  The choice is yours.

How Long Do I Have To Send In My Device?

You have 30 days from the date your order was placed to have your package scanned and received by the shipping provider in order for us to honor your quote. If 30 days have elapsed, you will need to re-submit your order as prices change constantly.

How Long Does It Take For Me To Get Paid?

FarewellCell stands alone when it comes to quick payouts.  Once we receive your device, payments are issued within 24 hours by PayPal or check.  PayPal is immediate whereas check will take 2-5 business days to reach you.  You make the choice.

I Just Placed My Order, What Do I Do Now?

After placing your order, you will receive two things. A confirmation text to the phone number you provided at checkout and a confirmation email containing your prepaid shipping label. Make sure to check all email folders including your spam folder. Package your device securely in any box. Print out the shipping label provided in the email confirmation and attach it to the box. Drop the package off at any UPS Store or UPS Drop Off. When we receive your device, you will receive an email confirmation from us.

What If I Don't Receive My Confirmation Email?

Whenever you place an order with FarewellCell.com, you will receive an email confirmation with your prepaid label attached. Please check all email folders including your spam folder for the email confirmation. If you cannot find the email confirmation, please contact us at customerservice@farewellcell.com and we can assist you.  

What If I Receive My Confirmation Email But My Shipping Label Is Not Attached?

On the rare occasion that you do not receive your shipping label in your confirmation email, it may be due to your address not being entered correctly. One of our specialists will usually catch this error and issue you another confirmation email with an updated order number to include your shipping label. You may also contact us to let us know that you did not receive a shipping label and we will be more than happy to assist you. You may contact us seven days a week 24 hours a day at customerservice@farewellcell.com.

Which Types Of Electronics Does FarewellCell Buy?

FarewellCell focuses on every device that is available. If you don't see your device within our wide selection, please don't hesitate to contact us and let us know what you have. We can always make you an offer.

What If My Device Isn’t Listed?

If you don’t see your device, that’s ok.  You can always contact us with what you have and we will give you our best offer.  Please send us an email at customerservice@farewellcell.com with the name of your device and the current condition.

What If I Don't Have A Printer, Can I Still Receive My Prepaid Shipping Label?

Yes. You can email us anytime at customerservice@farewellcell.com to let us know that you need your shipping label mailed to you and we will be happy to assist you. You can also mail your device to us using any carrier of your choice and we will reimburse the shipping fees to you in your payment. Please allow 3-5 business days for delivery, if choosing this method.

How Do I Check On The Status of My Order?

Simply click on “My Orders” located on the home page in the top right corner.  From there just follow the prompts to check on the status of your order.  You can always reach us at customerservice@farewellcell.com for any inquiry.

When Does My Offer Expire?

Offers are  good for 30 days at farewellCell.com.  If after 30 days you still have not shipped your device, please check back with the site to get an updated quote as prices change constantly. 

I Don't Have UPS Near Me, Can I Use Another Shipping Carrier?

We realize that everybody does not have UPS or would rather use a different shipper. That's completely fine with us. Please email us at customerservice@farewellcell.com to let us know who you will be using to ship your device along with any tracking information you receive. Upon arrival of your device, we will reimburse your shipping fees to you and include the amount in addition to the offer we quoted you for your device.
